INSPECTIONS & TESTING

Inspections

Structural special inspection is the monitoring of the materials and workmanship that are critical to the integrity of the building structure. Our inspectors carry licenses or certifications in a dozen different categories. Contractors and owners can rest assured that by hiring SML the project will be inspected to a higher standard and we will work with the individuals involved to ensure the project progresses as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Inspections are required as the code, municipality or registered design professional deem necessary. This includes items such as post installed anchors (wedge, epoxy or screw anchors), reinforced masonry, concrete, welding and EIFS. Inspections can be called in by the owner’s rep, general contractor or sub-contractor and requests should be made 24 hours prior to inspection when possible.  We understand that advanced notice is not always possible and make every effort to make accommodations for our clients so they can continue without delays.

Please arrange a meeting Matt Williams and Jesse Light to discuss how the special inspection online form can work.
